Water Type: Freshwater Water Temp: 75-78 F Tank Size: Minimum 20 gallon Adult Size: Up to 5 inches Lifespan: Average of 6 years Temperament: peaceful, but highly territorial with other plecos Diet: Algae wafers, spirulina wafers, blanched cucumbers, zucchini, or spinach. Plecos also need a supply of wood in their diet to aid in digestion. This can be accomplished by adding driftwood to your tank or feeding a bottom feeder wafer that contains wood in its ingredients.
