Many aquarists will use half the batch to culture their own continuous supply and feed the other half to their fish. The majority of the invertebrates in this starter pack are daphnia spp. and cyclops native to Florida. I raise my infusoria in blackwater, rich with humic substances. You will receive 8 oz of densely packed infusoria, shipped in half blackwater and half green water which is chock full of beneficial and edible single-celled algae.
