SPECIES: FLOATING CRYSTALWORT (Riccia Fluitans) - HERITAGE: TANK RAISED - STRAIN: NA - ORIGINAL SOURCE: UNKNOWN - MAXIMUM SIZE: 3- 5 CM HIGH IN STRONG LIGHT; WIDTH IS INDETERMINATE - WATER PARAMETERS: RANGE 68 - 82 F; PH 7.0 - LIFE EXPECTANCY: AS LONG AS YOU WISH TO KEEP IT (WITH PROPER CARE) - DIETARY NEEDS: NUTRIENTS FROM WATER COLUMN; ARTIFICIAL LIGHT - BEHAVIOR: NA - DESCRIPTION: 1 portion (see picture for container size). Float it with low agitation, and it will eventually grow and spread into a green, floating cloudlike clump. Can be tied on to tank objects as well. Removes toxins from the water. "Babies" grow mysteriously from small fragments. You'll see what I mean soon enough. You'll never be able to get rid of it, so think about it carefully before you order. FRESH water-raised. Raised in community tank. May contain micro-flora, fauna and snail eggs. Carefully dipped in a 1:20 bleach solution and then rinsed in API StressCoat+ prior to shipping. Quarantine initially for best results. Grown in tanks with duckweed. While we will try to remove as much duckweed as possible, PK Endlers cannot guarantee your floating crystalwort will be duckweed free.

I must preface by saying this was my first fish by mail order. Skeptical and anxiously waiting USPS is painful, especially when you see your package is delayed, with no tracking updates for over 24 hrs. Despite this, the fish arrived in great packaging, healthier than I could have imagined. No different than if you brought them home from a local store. They are thriving! Beautiful, healthy fish!
