Plecos
Plecos for Sale
Plecos (family Loricariidae) are armored, suckermouth catfish that range from small, algae-grazing nano species to large show fish prized by collectors. On Light Fish you'll find an extensive variety of plecos listed by breeders and hobbyists, including bristlenose plecos, rubber lip plecos, clown plecos, royal plecos, zebra plecos (L046), and dozens of other L-number species. Many are sought after by specialized collectors who focus exclusively on Loricariidae.
All pleco orders on Light Fish are backed by a platform-wide Live Arrival Guarantee. Fish are packed in breather bags with temperature-appropriate packs, shipped in insulated boxes via priority or overnight carrier, and weather-monitored in transit. Plecos range widely in care requirements — common plecos can exceed 18 inches while bristlenose stay under 5 inches, making species selection critical. Most benefit from driftwood in the tank, which provides fiber and grazing surface.
