For sale are premium Odessa Barbs, bred from the line developed by Greg Sage at Select Aquatics.
Pictures included in this ad are taken from my fishroom and represent the stunning coloration of this line.
Available Fish for sale are unsexed juveniles, approximately 2 month old. At this age, the fish are silver/red in coloration (see pictures above) and can take 6 months to gain their full adult coloration. However, it's well worth the wait.
Adult will fish show vibrant coloration when kept in a planted aquarium with dark substrate and medium lighting. Males are matte black with a vibrant red stripe; females are a rich olive/red tone.
