This advertisement is for Super Blue Emperor Tetras (species: Inpiachthys Kerri). An uncommon fish you won't readily find available in your local aquarium store, this tetra variety has been bred for its amazing blue color. The pictures accompanying this advertisement are of actual fish in my care (male left, female right) and represent the quality and coloration of available stock. Super Blue Emperor Tetras are peaceful schooling fish that are a great addition to any community aquarium. They are easy to care for and have requirements similar to that of many tetras -- neutral-to-acidic water conditions (Ph 6.5 - 7.0), a gentle flow, and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Adult fish are about the size of an adult Neon Tetra, 1.25 inches. Available stock ranges from .75 to 1.25 inches. ** Please note that while these fish are referred to as "Emperor Tetras", they are not the same species as the more common Nematobrycon Palmeri, which is also called by the name "Emperor Tetra".
