Aquarium Tanks for Sale
Finding the right aquarium tank is the starting point for any new fishkeeping setup, and buying secondhand or surplus tanks through Light Fish is one of the most cost-effective ways to get started or upgrade. On Light Fish you'll find aquarium tanks listed by hobbyists across the United States in a wide range of sizes — from small nano tanks under 10 gallons to large display tanks of 100 gallons or more, in glass and acrylic, rimless and rimmed styles, standard and custom dimensions.
Tanks listed on Light Fish are typically sold for local pickup due to their size and fragility, though some smaller tanks may be available for shipping. Always inspect a used tank for scratches, chips at the seams, or evidence of prior leaks before purchasing. A simple leak test — filling the tank with water on a level surface for 24 hours — is strongly recommended before setting up any secondhand aquarium.
