Red Neocaridina Shrimp are great for beginners! These Fire Red Cherries are a higher grade version of the traditional red cherry shrimp. 10 shrimps per gallon is usually the recommended rule. Fire Red’s are hardy, non-aggressive and spend most of their time eating algae and biofilm off plants, glass, and substrate, making them an awesome clean up crew for your tank. Simply dechlorinate clean tap wate, cycle your tank, add some leaves/plants and your new shrimp colony has the opportunity to thrive.
