Small Cholla Wood (10x0.75")
Description
What you see is what you get with this natural cholla wood. Each order contains an assorted piece from those pictured. The pieces are approximately 10" x 0.75" (3" circumference), and each piece is cleaned and sun-dried. Cholla wood is a natural wood found after a cholla cactus dies and dries out. This wood is native to New Mexico and many other parts of the southwest US and northern Mexico. This wood makes a great addition to your tank as it not only provides excellent hiding spots for your shrimp/fish fry due to the wood being hollow, but it also releases valuable tannins into the water and grows biofilms for shrimp and other creatures to enjoy. There is also a lot of surface area on the wood to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria to keep the tank free of harmful compounds. This is a soft wood and will eventually break down in the water, depending on the size of the piece, in anywhere from a couple of months to a couple of years. Please comment or message me if you would like more specifics or pictures on each piece, or if you have a request for something in a different size/shape. When ordering, message me with the number of the piece you would like.

I loved it I got a free sample cup of some floating plant, and all the plants were alive and well definitely would order again.
The cholla wood goes well with the shrimp tank I have. The package also came with filter media and algae wafers which was exciting to receive.
Delivered in great shape, worked perfectly for my tank
