Fancy goldfish are selectively bred ornamental fish prized for their unusual body shapes, elaborate fins, and vivid coloration. On Light Fish you'll find a wide variety of fancy goldfish listed by breeders and hobbyists, including orandas, ranchu, ryukin, telescope eye, butterfly tail, and panda goldfish. Unlike common or comet goldfish, fancy varieties are best kept in aquariums rather than ponds, and their slower swimming makes them unsuitable tankmates for fast-moving fish.
