Tetras are small, schooling freshwater fish and among the most popular community tank fish in the hobby. Tetras are known for their vivid colors and schooling behavior, and are ideal for planted community setups.

Fish are packed in breather bags with temperature-appropriate packs, shipped in insulated boxes via priority or overnight carrier, and weather-monitored in transit. Most tetras prefer soft, slightly acidic water (pH 6.0–7.0) and temperatures of 72–80°F. They are best kept in schools of at least six, and many species display their most vivid colors in well-planted tanks with dark substrate.
