Poecilia sphenops, Molly. These vibrant fish are stunning to behold, with their bold Gold over Black bodies with sides that shimmer in the light as they swim effortlessly with their graceful Lyretail. Unlike other tropical fish, both sexes will look amazing in your personal aquascape because both males and females fully display this flamboyant coloring, crowned by their equally colored fins. These fish are young adults now, but will continue to color and fill out as they age. Females mature to 3.5 inches, and males mature to a slimmer 3 inches in approximately 6 months. We are meticulously line breeding these beauties to increase the size of the Lyretail phenotype. These Molly are great community fish, that will surely give you years of enjoyment with their peaceful live bearer nature.
