Selling a mated pair of Redtail Goodeid. Also referred to as splitfin fish. These fish grow to approximately 2.5-3 inches in size. They are live bearing fish. They are hardy and easy to care for. They are not overly aggressive but can be nippy. The males have a yellow/oarnge tail and are opalescent. The females are slightly less colorful and are larger than the males. These fish are tank born and raised. I have several to rehome. Feel free to contact me directly regarding quantity. These fish are very young and measure approximately 1/2 inch. These do well in planted tanks and are prolific breeders. Provided enough cover, the fry are very easy to take care of. While these fish can take normal tropical water temperature, they much prefer it on the cooler side. Upper 60s to mid-70s are ideal. Diet: Omnivore These are eating pellets and flakes. Vegetable matter is an important part of their diet.
